Welcome to Miss Opdahl's Math and Science classroom. In this room, students work collaboratively to understand not only the world around them but their own impact on that world. We are an investigation based classroom that utilize hands-on activities. Through active explorations students discover patterns, processes and relationships in order to incorporate classroom content into their everyday lives. As we prepare for middle school, students increase responsibility for their own learning. Our activities are geared towards creating lifelong learners who can confidently tackle new challenges.

Class Announcements Open Library NightPlease take the time to bring your student out to our school's Open Library Night, held on the first and third Thursday of each month from 5-7pm. Students that attend will have the opportunity to spend time reading with their family, take Reading Counts quizzes, and even check out TWO extra books! This is a great way for you to encourage a stronger education for your child. Class Files

Class Links  Study IslandStudy Island is a terrific test preparation website to reinforce the Virginia Standards of Learning and it is also accessible from your home computer!. Students use the same username and password at school and at home to access the tests and games. |
